“Jessina has been an incredible support system for me throughout my life’s ups and downs. She’s been like a wise mentor, gently guiding me while I have been going through some big life changes with her encouragement, advice, and unwavering support. As a yoga practitioner, her classes create a calm, safe, and warm atmosphere filled with positive energy. Even though I’m a newbie to yoga and I still have a lot to learn, Jessina is so welcoming and explains things in a digestible way that’s easy to understand.  Her reminders to be gentle with ourselves and adapt as needed are super helpful, especially for someone like me who’s new to it and trying to get back in shape. Music is a big part of my life, and her incorporation of music with movement and breathing really elevates the experience! That’s something that really stands out for me and helps me get into it! Jessina’s teachings and classes have had a huge impact on me. They’ve unexpectedly given me emotional releases during sessions. It’s been an exciting journey to explore this new chapter with such a passionate and dedicated instructor. Her guidance is really inspiring me to keep learning and growing in the practices I’ve learned from her. I highly recommend her classes to anyone looking for a transformative yoga experience. One thing that sets Jessina apart is her unique style and approach. She goes beyond traditional yoga practices and creates a nurturing and empowering space for women to discover support in a holistic way. She’s an amazing soul and I’m so happy I get to learn from her!” -Amanda Simmons

Mikayla is a 500-Hour RYT who specializes in Vinyasa Yoga. Mikayla first discovered yoga at age 13 while looking for a way to get more active, but really fell in love with the practice years later after meeting an instructor who focused heavily on breath work. The way her mind cleared when she was able to focus on breath amazed her, and is what inspired her to become a yoga teacher and share this ancient practice with others. Since then Mikayla always turns to yoga when she needs to get her thoughts straight. Now she finds the most meditation in movement, enjoying a practice that challenges both the mind and the body. This shines through her teaching style- by building heat through dynamic and fun movement, she challenges her students to find playfulness in trying new things. Mikayla believes in the importance of giving variations, always trying to give her students a way to make their practice fit their needs by offering options to either add challenge or invite ease. Her classes are inviting to anyone looking to find mindfulness, movement, and a bit of play. For Mikayla, one of her favorite parts of class is when she falls and has to get back up again. She aims to ignite that same feeling of joy in showing you you're able to try again. Mikayla completed her first 200-hour teacher training at Divine Power Yoga in South Lyon, focusing on Vinyasa yoga. In 2024 she traveled to Lakshmi Risings School for Yoga & Wellness to complete her 300-hour teacher training where she continued her focus on Vinyasa Yoga. For Mikayla, being a teacher is about staying a student and is always pursuing a deeper understanding of the practice of yoga.
